Copyright & DMCA Policy

1. Respect for copyright

ScoutOne hosts film, photos, documents, and other material uploaded by users. You may only upload material that you own or that you have permission to upload and share. Uploading someone else's film, highlight edits, photography, music, or documents without permission violates our Terms of Use.

2. How to report infringement

If you believe material on ScoutOne infringes your copyright, send a written notice to affiliatenetwork80@gmail.com with the subject line "Copyright Notice". Your notice should include:
  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed
  • The URL or a description sufficient for us to locate the material on ScoutOne
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf

3. What we do with a valid notice

We review copyright notices promptly. If a notice is valid and complete, we remove or disable access to the reported material, notify the member who uploaded it, and record the complaint. Knowingly submitting a false or bad-faith notice may expose you to liability.

4. Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. Include your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, your contact information, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of an appropriate United States federal court. We may restore the material if the original complainant does not pursue the matter.

5. Repeat infringers

ScoutOne terminates, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of members who are repeat copyright infringers. Repeated valid complaints against the same account will result in suspension or permanent removal.

6. Schools, teams, and third-party marks

School names, team names, conference names, and logos remain the property of their respective institutions. ScoutOne displays them only where licensed or approved and uses neutral placeholders otherwise. ScoutOne is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCAA, the NAIA, any conference, any college or university, Hudl, or any other third-party organization.

7. Designated agent

ScoutOne has not yet registered a designated DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. Until that registration is completed, use the email address above for all copyright complaints. This page is informational and is not legal advice.
