What we collect
Account details (name, email, role), profile content you add (school, measurements, stats, film, documents, photos), and basic usage data such as profile views and messages sent.
What is public
Your recruiting profile — film, measurements, stats, school, position, and grad year — is public so coaches can find you. Your email address, phone number, and documents are never shown publicly.
How we use data
To show your profile to coaches, power search and comparison tools, send the notifications you opted into, and keep the platform safe. We do not sell your personal information.
Notifications
If you enable device notifications, we store only the permission state and the delivery token needed to send alerts. You can turn notifications off at any time in Settings or your device settings.
Minors
Many ScoutOne athletes are under 18. Athletes under 13 may not create an account. A parent or guardian can be linked to an athlete account to review activity, coach outreach, and messages, and may request access, correction, or deletion of an athlete's data at any time by contacting support. We do not sell or license athlete data to advertisers or data brokers.
Payments
Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider. ScoutOne never receives or stores your full card number. We retain only the plan, status, and billing period needed to grant access to paid features.
Data retention
Profile content stays available while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your profile, film, documents, and photos from public view immediately and purge them from backups within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, security, or billing reasons.
Your choices
You can edit or remove any profile content at any time, unpublish your profile so it no longer appears in search, and request full account deletion from Settings.
